Our history

Our recipes date back to 1908 and were passed down from the grandfather of one of our two founders.

We craft artisanal biscuits, made in the respect of traditional methods, at our production site in the Namur region.

La Biscuiterie Namuroise was founded in 2019 by Laurent and Paul. Laurent is a trained baker and pastry chef, while Paul comes from a business and project development background.

In August 2019, Laurent encouraged Paul to take a closer look at the biscuits that were already a great success in his bakery. Even though Paul initially replied, “Biscuits? I’m not convinced.” they started thinking it through together.

Their first big opportunity came at the KIKK Festival in September 2019, where their biscuits were offered in the VIP area as a first test. The result? Emotion in people’s eyes, a connection to the past, and the sweetness of childhood memories. A few months later, in December 2019, they officially launched the adventure.
